This work in progress is a field guide poster featuring salmonids of Colorado. There are 16 species featured on the poster, centered around a hand-drawn topographical map of Colorado’s rivers, lakes, streams, and reservoirs. 4 of these species are native to the state, and their native ranges are indicated in color on the map.
This preview will be updated further as more fishes are finished, scanned, processed, and added to the poster.
As of 2/25/26, from top to bottom, the Rio Grande cutthroat trout (Oncorhynchus clarkii virginialis) and the greenback cutthroat trout (Oncorhynchus clarkii stomias) are situated on the poster.
